It is now widely recognised that true health comes from looking at our whole life, personality and experience. For instance,we know that excessive stress can lead all kinds of physical conditions - from stomach ulcers to heart problems. It is pointless to treat the stomach ulcer if the stress remains, as the person concerned will simply develop another ulcer, or a different symptom expressing the stress in a new way.
